Udemy Python for Finance
I've been getting ads on my Instagram for Udemy's "Python for Finance" course. Anyone ever taken this specific one? If so, is it worth it? Or should I opt for one of their (or someone else's) standard Python courses?

Yeah udemy kind of sucks imo.
Any others you’d recommend?
Just use youtube its free with tons of lessons.
Are there any channels you like or consider better than others?
Honestly no. Just choose a topic and see the one with the most likes or views. It is nice because it is free and you get perspective from a lot of different people that create the videos. Nothing wrong with taking a formal class (maybe not a Udemy one) but this could be a cheap/easy way to understand what you want to know in python. I learned most of my financial modeling from watching youtube videos and feel they are very underrated as study material.
people will shit on me for saying this, but codecademy was a great primer for me especially because it's hands-on, interactive learning (which I learn the best with)
it's not especially advanced, but will teach you the foundations while also providing you the knowledge to further explore specific areas of interest outside of codecademy.
I've been looking into codeacademy as well. Did you use some of their free lessons or pay for the ones you wanted/needed?
I did the free lessons. Also, it's been at least 7 years since I used it seriously so maybe it's changed/gotten better (i assume its the latter). But did notice maybe 2-3 years ago that they added a data science section which would be great for you, esp the python one. I think(?) it covers manipulating sheets
