Ugly handwriting - how to fix?

Hey guys,

My handwriting was stucked at the level of primary school. Fortunately, in IB we are using 99% of time a keyboard to write, but especially at the next hierarchy levels, we will need to sign agreements etc.

My handwriting is really ugly and looks like 8-yr's old one. Do you think is it possible to improve that/is it worth? How long would it take to improve handwriting style?

But I am wondering if there are any cases in work when you need to use your handwriting apart from signing something?

In my case, I even switched taking notes by hand to the word, but I am afraid that in some companies it may be the case that you are using your handwriting. If it's as you say, then it's probably not worth practicing.

Who cares?

The only things you should be writing by hand are maybe notes to yourself and heartfelt cards to friends and family.

If you're writing something in a professional setting, be a professional and type it.

Looking at my handwriting, one would think I am some poor, retarded bastard with Parkinson's. That in of itself I think has an endearing effect on the reader: "... Awe, I can't read a fucking thing in this birthday card, but it warms my heart that dedline labored through an attempt to communicate his emotions to me".

Handwriting is an emotional novelty now. If I need someone to physically read something, I'm stamping my shit out in Notepad++, CONTROL + P and creasing that shit horizontally. If I need someone to think I'm several octaves smarter than I actually am, I'm stamping my shit out in LaTeX and binding with a single staple in left-hand corner.

I have a horrible handwriting for two reasons: I rarely write anything with a pen and I broke my thumb when I was like 5 years old and it was never fixed. My thumb does not bend where it should bend. It is what it is and I do not plan on doing anything about it.

You can improve by practicing but I am not sure if it would be a good use of time.

It seems like your grammar was stucked there too...
