Unrequited Love

Yes, technically it isn't love if he doesn't feel you back but I just wanted to know from any ladies or men how you got over someone not liking you back?

My story: he liked me many years ago, I didn't realise this. He told me his feelings, I said I wanted to be friends. We stayed friends throughout and a few years later, now I like him. I told him how I felt, he says he wasn't sure and was emotionally playing me against another girl (whom I knew he liked).

All in all, didn't end nicely but can't stop thinking about him.

Just wondering if any other monkeys have advice about this or if you have gone through it, how did you get over it?

I know emotions fade with time, but it doesn't feel like it right now.

maximus307if this is serious, then its simple. find someone else and get laid a few times. other than that there really is no trick to it. either you're numb to this type of thing by now or you give it time and eventually you'll forget about him.

I want to be numb to it, thanks for the advice.

Anthony, I'm not a troll. I've been posting in the Entrepreneurial Ecstasy section.

Didn't know asking for advice gets you labelled as a troll!
