USAF / air national guard, while working in finance

I am applying to join USAF Reserves & Air National Guard. That comes from a longstanding desire to serve, which is now further crystalized given the global events facing our country (Russian hacking of US elections, etc.) I am already 10 years post MBA, so my role in finance has become somewhat established. Is it feasible to do the part-time national service while working in finance? It won't be IBD, but rather VC/PE, so the time commitment might be manageable. Of course, if there's deployment then all bets are off finance-job-wise, and you go serve the national as needed.

"earthwalker7" I am applying to join USAF Reserves & Air National Guard.

I don't think you can join both. They are different entities. Are you applying to both, but are going to pick one?
