Volvo S90 Car

Will need a car soon and was looking at the 2022 Volvo S90. It would be $65k, and I'd pay half in cash and finance the rest.

Seems really nice and under the radar compared to the MB E-Class and BMW 5 Series. Wondering if anyone had thoughts on it. I'd get a black exterior and white interior.

I'd probably keep this until full self driving cars become a legal thing.

For $65K I'd rather have a BMW M2.

Honestly, if we're going there I'd ask for a manual CTS-V wagon.  (also the only M-cars that do it for me are the E30 and E36, might do an old manual M5 too though)

The only difference between Asset Management and Investment Research is assets. I generally see somebody I know on TV on Bloomberg/CNBC etc. once or twice a week. This sounds cool, until I remind myself that I see somebody I know on ESPN five days a week.

Please sell the Miata and get a V10 M5 Manual. Please. I am begging you.

got a good link?  It's convertible season, Miata prices run high this time of year.  Granted, I'll feel lost without the community.  FM just sent me their annual catalog.  No parts listed just a few blurbs about the V8 Targa and their suspension escapades.

Honestly, all the naturally aspirated german V-10s are a blessing these days. Have been whipping an Audi R8 V-10 RWS these days and quite frankly, no amount of duel-turbo on a flat six (calling out porsche here) can compensate for that kind of throttle response.

Can confirm. E30 M3 or an E34 M5 are "the tits". Damn I miss my '92 M5...

And for the record, until Isaiah's V10 M5 (E60) they were all manual.

I'm not really looking for something sporty. More or less just relaxed comfort.

I'd probably choose an X5 over an S90.

Whatever you do, if you get a white interior get an interior protection applied. Well worth the money. Also get it tinted for heat and for fun. It’s a great car but for 65k I’d personally look at certified pre owned amg. But if going for comfort, Volvo’s seats are fantastic.

Not sure if this matters to you, but I believe these cars depreciate faster than most. Saw a 2018 s90 for $31k and 20k miles.

I rented an s60 (I think it’s a smaller version of the s90) for a few months and loved it. Looked into buying it but saw the depreciation rates and passed. Seriously loved that car, and didn’t expect to at all given its a Volvo.
