I have absolutely no words for this...
I am writing this while I have just found out that my application for 2021 summer analyst program at THE GOLD MAN SAHCS has been DENIED.
My cover letter had EVERYTHING: I made an EXCEPTIONAL analysis of the current state of bitcoins. Suggested improvements to their bottom line by hiring ME. Showed proof of connections with SEVERAL MDs who are friends of my dad and who i regularely play golf with... I was the PERFECT CANDIDATE.
Why was my application denied? It's obvious. It's because of my 2.1 GPA. I thought gold man sahcs wanted to hire more diversity candidates?
PLEASE TELL ME HOW MANY EMPLOYEES AT THE GOLD MAN HAVE A 2.1 GPA? I WAS THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: DIVERSE.
I'm just sick and tired of this DUMBISM that's going on in wall str right now. I'm not even mad anymore... Just really really really dissapointed in the current state of our country. Does it have to do with TRUMP? Probably.
Anyways, I just hope that one day, all kids can edit their linked in title to Gold man sachs summer analyst.
