Washington Square area as an Analyst?
How is this area in terms of living, rent, social aspect, etc? It seems like it'd be a fun spot considering its around NYU

I live one block away from it and its pretty damn nice. Granted im not baller status FO guy, but work in MO at a BB. Live with the GF in a full 1 bedroom with seperate kitchen, living room etc. 4th floor walkup for $2200.
Granted, we are beyond lucky to have this apartment, there were like 10 people vying for it and we literally gave a deposit within 2 hours of looking at it. You can expect for a small 1 bedroom or studio to run in the $2300 range, like i said we are extremely lucky to find what we did, its good size too. I have friends who live in a 2 BR like 10 blocks away that pay $3700 for the apartment. Its literally smaller in all aspects except it has one more bedroom.
Social aspect is pretty good, it gets loud as hell on weekends thanks to the crazy NYU students but pretty nice bars everywhere and a couple of clubs. Let me know if you want to know about more specific stuff

Remember to quality for a place the general rule of thumb the real estate agent uses is Rent Gross Salary/40.
