Watching The Notebook, is it true?

I watched The Notebook again after a few years and was wondering if there was anyone experiencing this currently. How many of you have been in real-life love story like this? For example, you know life… after the summer ends she goes to Stanford while you’re at home in New York (Starting your stint at Apollo). You don’t hear from her but you keep writing to her (2 minute bathroom break in the middle of the night). You disappear from everyone in your previous life. The only time you’re out of the office during the day is when your father dies. She sees that you make the cover in Forbes magazine and faints while she is trying on wedding dresses (not for you). Then she comes home at the perfect time after 7 years once you finally get your exit notice. Then you grow old and die together :)
