What are some effective methods for warding off seasonal depression?

Not a medically approved cure but I bought a $20 fluorescent lamp therapy lamp off amazon and that has helped (I think anyways). I keep my room really bright in general with fluorescent bulbs.

**It also comes with a clock that starts gradually shining 30 minutes before the set alarm time so you wake up to light (like our ancestors did) and not to the shitty iPhone alarm tune.

Omega 3s (Flax Oil or Krill Oil) and Vitamin D3 - 5000IU per day or more.

Keep a circadian rhythm.
