100% chance your metadata is recorded. 0% chance they're reading the "o.m.g. a girl smiled at me what do I do" threads. Either way, it's not like all of our interactions aren't on the record here and they could probably crack Patrick's server in a few seconds to get whatever they want.
Dude, big brother has been watching for about a century. If you don't like it, go off the record. I lived off the grid for a couple years and it's actually kind of nice.
I wonder if they listen to Bill Clinton's phone conversations.

Yeah, I thought it was assumed that nothing we do is really private. All of the recent buttrage seems kind of naive.
And I'd especially assume that all of the countries are trying to spy on one another's world leaders. Don't know how this came as such a shock to anyone.
LOL they probably monitor all former presidents. Interestingly, the only president who still keeps an ear to the ground and reads the DNI briefs every day is George H.W. Bush, who was director of C.I.A. before he was president. My guess is that he uses intel in an advisory capacity for the benefit of the GOP.
Yeah, spying on each other's leaders is old hat, as in ancient Egypt old. As far as massive data collecting of the bulk of Americans, that's new and I gotta hand it to them, they're really burying the Constitution. Between Bush#2 and Obama, I'd say that they've given massive power to the intelligence services in this country that they've never had before and I'm just waiting for them to start abusing it. Most of the mental midgets on this site really don't understand the gov't at all, but I've been neck deep in this stuff for close to 15 years, and based on what I know it's just a matter of time. While everyone is trying to blame the other political party (was it the Patriot Act? Did Obama pervert it? Does anyone even care?) the national security state is basically setting up shop for police state 2.0, the invisible edition.
Give a small person power and they abuse it. THAT TRAIN'S NEVER LATE! hahahahhaha......*sob
Laughter is my way of dealing with horrible things, but even I can't find a way to make this funny.

Seems like old H.W. does actual work while Obama is golfing 8 days a week.
