What is the one thing you spend extra money on now that you can?
For me, it is blankets, throws, linens, etc. There's nothing quite like a 100% pure wool blanket / throw with quality bed linens.
Pendleton, Faribault, and 8th Generation are my go-to.

Career Resources
Investing in high-quality bedding and linens is a fantastic choice, as it directly impacts your comfort and sleep quality. Based on previous WSO threads, many users echo similar sentiments about prioritizing luxury bedding. Brands like Pendleton, Faribault, and 8th Generation are excellent picks, known for their craftsmanship and premium materials.
For those looking to elevate their bedding game further, consider exploring Egyptian cotton sheets with a high thread count, silk pillowcases for added luxury, or even fur blankets (as one WSO user humorously mentioned receiving compliments for). These upgrades not only enhance your rest but also add a touch of sophistication to your space.

Clothes. Quality clothing that lasts a long time is way better than cheap crap clothes. Cologne is another one where the extra dollar goes a long way.
Drop some brands... or musts for u when it come to buying eg prioritising cotton/wool %
Bonobos is great for me because I have really big thighs. I would also say Banana Republic and J Crew are good for some mid range priced stuff. A big thing IMO is finding a place that has most clothes fit your general size. I buy a lot of Banana and Bonobos because I know they fit my body type well.
Also, buying nice suits. I would say a nice suit is something you should go to a tailored shop for, not necessarily a chain.
unsurprisingly more junk food
Everything. Quality has fallen off a cliff no matter the topic. Premium is the new baseline.
travel & charity
charity - realized my long term trek towards fuck you money won't get derailed and I need to abide by the Gospels and give freely
travel - realized I can take 2x the amount of time off annually and business won't miss a beat, got to remember the meaning of "enough" and enjoy life
Talks about the "meaning of life" while also mentions his long term trek towards f you money.
Nice
I don't know the meaning of life, still searching, but I believe it lies in the search
and don't mistake fuck you money for generational wealth, I'm just seeking financial independence
For now, having multiple media / entertainment subscriptions (mostly streaming services, sometimes gaming ones too if I know I have downtime for a month or two).
I should probably spend more time buying quality casual clothes / grooming products but I never know which brands to really look at. I've never tried improving my appearance outside of working out, trying to change that. Part of my New Years resolution.
