What is the value in obtaining a non finance related degree?

What is the value in obtaining a non finance related degree? Such as computer science or biology. All paired with a finance like degree. What is the relevance? or importance?

idk about the States but here in the UK as long as you went to a good uni they literally don't care what your degree is for banking, even if it's not paired with a finance degree (I'm assuming you mean doing some kind of finance masters afterwards). Half of every desk will have other backgrounds like STEM. So I'd say there's still a lot of value in other subjects if that's your aim. Personally I'd also say at least some of the value comes from the fact that it's straight up more fun not studying finance at undergrad level but that's just a preference...

Non-finance endeavors aren't endeavors at all, are they? I mean if there's not a number attached to it, I don't like it.
