What is thinking like?

Never really thought about this but recently realized that I don’t really think verbally (or in pictures). Most of the time, when I think about something, I just zone out and kind of let “the calculations” run in the background — usually the answer just comes to mind in a couple of seconds (depending on the complexity of the problem).

What is it like to think verbally/visually?

I'm a big fan of visualizing whole events or activates before they happen. This is key in athletics and when racing. But, generally I will visualize the whole day the night before.

What happens when you’re talking to someone?

I usually try to be an active listener and give verbal cues and body language affirmations.

I think verbally most of the time, which means I often have an internal dialogue running in my head. It's like having a conversation with myself, where I articulate thoughts in full sentences. When thinking visually, I form mental images or scenarios to work through problems or ideas. It’s like watching a movie or looking at pictures in my mind
