What is your dream city/location?
You don't have to work anymore. You've been given a lot of money so you can afford any city/location. Where are you going? Why is that your dream location?

Career Resources
Beach houses in SC, SoCal, and a place in NYC.
You get a new job? See it says PE
Yeah I just got a new position at a small PE shop - I start next month.
Congrats on the new job in PE! Where in SC? Are you a fan of Kiawah or Seabrook?
Thanks bro! I’m in Charleston, but the company is based in Chicago. The MD actually lives in Charleston as well. Yeah I think I used to play tennis down there. Kiawah and Seabrook are nice.
Denver and San Antonio easily
Denver slightly overrated IMO
Agreed on Denver being overrated. Its no longer a LCOL city. Housing prices are approaching SoCal levels without the draw of great weather/beaches and traffic is ridiculous.
For my purposes this is untrue. I like the climate, culture, and access to outdoors and recreation.
Why San Antonio? I've been for work, but that's it.
San Diego or Los Angeles
If not on Earth then the Mars colony, could be interesting.
Why not OC?
A house in St. John, a house in Denver, a overwater hut in Aruba when I wanna get freaky with the Ms’s and a house in Rural Italy for the beautiful country side and amazing food
Detroit fuh sho
I’m getting a super yacht and traveling the world
https://www.prestigeonline.com/hk/pursuits/wealth/most-expensive-yachts…
Yeah it’s wild
I'd get a large yacht too, but a sailing one and go mostly around the Caribbean and Gulf. I'd have a crew, but would help out as well to stay active. This is my retirement goal, but on a smaller scale.
Would need to travel internationally more to know for sure, but in the US I’d love to be in calabasas or malibu long term with a ski house in jackson hole. I live close enough to malibu right now to go pretty often, but I have to live there in my 30s if I can. Would need to see switzerland and E/SE asia to verify if cities like geneva or singapore are worthwhile.
San Sebastián, Spain for sure. Basque Country is such an incredible place for everything from the cuisine to surfing - the culture in general is just an excellent experience.
San Sebastián is a cool area
Good pick. I went there for the first time a few months ago and it's great. Spain is pretty underrated.
Positano villa on the cliff, villa/castle in tuscany, penthouse in dallas or houston, place in st barths, west texas ranch with helipad.
The cultured Texan.
