i cajole my parents into giving me my weekly allowance. pretty lucrative when you consider the relatively low time-investment. only have to cry occasionally to close the deal.

I've always flipped stuff for fun. Well, when I was younger it was my only source of income. It was super stressful because I'd do dumb shit like use credit cards to buy inventory and then have to move it quickly but now I just do it for shits and giggles and it's a lot more enjoyable since I don't have to really worry about selling "inventory".

Lately it's been watches. I try to keep it to around $150k/$200k as anything over that is stupid for me. Usually I'll just throw shit on the usual platforms and when it moves, it moves. I've met a lot of cool people this way...predominately other finance guys.

Ran the numbers for fun and it looks like I made $40k or so in the last 12 months. I'd love to hire a "trader" and just throw some money at him but then it would make this less enjoyable methinks. I did look at investing in some watch retailers/dealers and TBH I'd be fine with like 10% IRR but they weren't really likable people for the most part and I don't like working with people I don't like.

Should add...always wanted to trade dem stonkz but I have the type of personality where I'd 100% go off the wall and invest in dumb shit, double down on losers, spend all day to make $2 etc.

Expanding on this more...I guess any time I pick up a side hobby I end up getting into it as a business eventually. Most exciting one as of late is probably a nootropics co. As part of our product offering/upsell process, we're going to sell a next-level n00t full of sketchy shit (disclaimers in)
