What time am I allowed to go to bed
Title is mostly a joke but what time of night marks a fair excuse to not immediately reply to an email?
Imagine a scenario where I've had a slow day and it doesnt seem like I have anything to do, decide to go home, and fall asleep at 10pm, but get comments at 10:30 (lets assume somewhat urgent comments)
What hour is the cutoff? When am I allowed to go to sleep lmao
Normally I do midnight but I mean if you are really tired you can ping your teams and see if anything is on the horizon

Within my group it seems like 12am is the cutoff. If it’s quiet during the night and there aren’t any requests or pressing deadlines, you’re normally good to go to sleep.
Never. And if you do make sure you keep your phone on max volume and taped to your forehead so you can fix footnote 3 on page 42 of the back pocket materials at 1am when your MBA associate feels motivated
