I finished undergrad a few months ago, and I definitely regret not getting to know more people outside of the business school.

The important thing is never to let oneself be guided by the opinion of one's contemporaries; to continue steadfastly on one's way without letting oneself be either defeated by failure or diverted by applause.

Currently at university but I regret not standing up for myself, high school was terrible, was isolated and alone. I also regret not being myself, dressing how I wanted to during college. Really become myself at university and am a lot happier because of it.

Young 30s, biggest regret was taking things way too seriously.

Everything was the end of the world and nothing was good enough - so it led to me beating the shit out of myself and missing out on a lot of good experiences.

Don't regret where I ended up - good gig, great family. But I definitely made it a lot harder on myself than it needed to be.

That slaps. Good for you man.

I had countless times when I was alone with a girl in my room in high school and i never made a move on them because I was scared to see what would happen (like would they reciprocate, etc.).

When I was about 12 years old in gym class, I stood by when a bully picked up a small skinny kid and tossed him into a big laundry basket in front of dozens of other boys. Kid was humiliated and had to pull himself out while everyone laughed at him. It happened right in front of me, but i was too scared of the bully and the social embarrassment. To this day I still think about how I could’ve stood up to this bully and how the experience would’ve changed my character. Hope one day I can raise a son that would act differently than I did in that situation
