What's your favorite restaurant/place to eat in London?

Being a big fan of extensive wining & dining im just gonna jack Will Huntings thread and make the London equivalent out of it.

Where do you guys enjoy eating during your lunch break or when you go out for dinner?

This could serve as a good resource for others who are/will be working in London or people who are/will be interns.

Please rate the expensiveness and the area in which it is located!

lol you should at least change the picture so that people do not confuse the twp. but other than that...good thread although i dont know if there are many people from london on this site.

"Look, you're my best friend, so don't take this the wrong way. In twenty years, if you're still livin' here, comin' over to my house to watch the Patriots games, still workin' construction, I'll fuckin' kill you. That's not a threat, that's a fact.

This. Fantastic steaks, really good. Truffle Mac and Cheese is really good too.

Sushi: Nobu is good of course (Rock Shrimp = awesome) but I prefer Umu in Mayfair. Aqua Kyoto and Roka aren't too bad either.

For Indian, I really like Star of India in South Kensington.

Jack: They’re all former investment bankers who were laid off from that economic crisis that Nancy Pelosi caused. They have zero real world skills, but God they work hard. -30 Rock

haha, alright I ll change the pic

thought though there would be a bunch from london.

awesome place in kensington is sushino (kinda fusion of japanese/brazil, like nobus but much better) its quite small so maybe reserve a table but its worth it

Best kebab in London is hands down, "Woody Grill" in Camden. Right off the Camden High street tube stop. Only problem is it closes at 2am...but its great any time of day. Can't tell you how many times I'd take one of the night buses home from the West End only to have the the doors of Woody Grill closed as I was approaching. Massive buzzkill!
