So, maybe my chickens have come home to roost and I probably shouldn't have opened my mouth in the Black Swan Seks Scene thread...but I did and now I am regretting it. I bitched about Natalie looking a bit thin in her ballerina role in the movie, and truth be told, she was, but apparently she took what I wrote to heart and decided to get her curves back in the worse way possible...by getting knocked up.
Man I'm pissed. I saw her on Conan the other night and was in shock. There goes another perfectly good vagina shot all to hell.
Oh well, on to the next one.

Haven't seen True Grit yet, but didn't get the hype over King's Speech. Colin Firth was good, but the movie felt a bit dragged on...

True Grit for sure... As far as looks though, Portman is over rated.
True Grit was far better. Black Swan was an over-stylized version of the Ballet, which, unless performed by a top production, is mediocre at best. It's not even the best work of Tchykovsky (sp?). That goes to the Nutcracker.

I just saw the movie. OMG she is hot and delicious. I actually loved the movie. Wonderful cinematography.
I guess I'll have to go check it out so I can make up my own mind. I did watch the sex scene that was posted and that is probably worth watching the whole movie just to see again.

I just saw No Strings Attached and it had some funny scenes with decent storyline...It's not better than a more serious drama, but if you are in the mood for something "fun", check it out.
this movie was lame. i walked out early (granted, i had just seen true grit so maybe had enough movie for the day). ashton kutcher is a terrible, terrible actor. i couldn't believe that portman did a movie with him. maybe she just wanted to do a comedy?

King's Speech was overrated. Definitely a solid movie, but shouldn't be hyped that much just because it's solid and not spectacular.
