When US Cyber Attacks Start it's going to be a Massive Shitshow

I think we'vealready seen some pretty big headlines regarding CyberAttacks over the past few years. Those attacks probably won't be of the nature of those that are to come next. What I mean is that those previous ones were supposed to be indiscreet as to not be noticed. If things start getting aggressive and no fucks are given, then it'll wreck the US.

It'll have massive repercussions on many aspects of a lot of peoples lives. Lawmakers spend their time playing patty cake and passing stupid bills like bills to stop advertising towards children. Public opinion is probably positive about this, but it doesn't matter because it's a red herring. Frankly a majority of the population doesn't seem to care about any of this stuff and it will affect everybody.

What are you going to do when heating is out during the winter? When you experience a rolling blackout? When you can't drive because the software update that your car received had malicious code in it? When your city's water supply is affected due to a cyber attack at their local facility?

Do you mean Russian Cyber attacks?

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee

Or gross negligence. Or not giving a shit for various reasons

The US needs to follow China and the EU's example when it comes to cyber security.

Would not be shocked if Russia decides to stop being discreet & get aggressive about taking our things like energy grids in the U.S. Only reason to not do so for this long is because there were a ton of sanctions the U.S. could drop on Russia...but if now we use that firepower then we have no cards to play against them.

Should we have made this stand in Ukraine vs. Russia? I don't know the answer to that. What I do know is now that we have, we will have to live with the consequences. If Putin is taken down internally, then the sanctions will have been a net positive move. If not, I suspect it will have been a net negative one (for the U.S. specifically)
