Where should I spend New Years 2025

My friends and I have been trying to plan a New Years trip and now it'll be upon us before we know it. In 2018-19 we went to Montreal, 2019-20 we did Newport, RI (where we're from but we get an AirBnB), 2020-21 we did a ski trip in New Hampshire, then 2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24 we did Newport, RI again.

One friend and me are in NYC, my other two friends are in Georgia, and one is in Zurich. Originally, we were thinking somewhere tropical like Jamaica or the Dominican Republic at an all-inclusive. We're trying to consider other options though, maybe a cabin on a lake in Georgia, or something in upstate New York? We're not into crazy crowded bar or club scenes but we still want to be around fun stuff to do. Thinking about doing a 4- or 5-day trip, preferably on the east coast so flights will be cheaper and shorter.

Any recs? We really don't want to go back to our hometown again. I'm trying to get out of NYC too to avoid the craziness here around New Years.

True, I love Lake George but there won't be much to do outside. We're thinking Charleston or Savannah / Hilton Head now

This place is $204 all you can drink NYE.
