Hear me out. If you are a very wealthy guy in a southern city like Nashville or Austin, I think you have your pick of the hottest girls in the city. Whereas in NYC there is a way higher density of wealthy people. Thoughts?

hmm. am engaged so dating scene not really a factor for me - probably somewhere pastoral in New England.

but if I was single and that was a factor, NYC, charlotte, charleston, Austin, new orleans, maybe LA, Chicago. Lotta girls in NYC/LA but the dating scenes are honestly awful and super transactional IME

I've visited hundreds if not thousands of cities all across the world and the answer is NYC hands down. You really have to live in NYC for a few years to appreciate it - just visiting doesn't do it justice. To visit a random bar on a random day and have it turn into this crazy night with people you just met and to form lifetime connections is priceless.
