Where to live for the summer near Goldman Sachs?

Got an SA offer from Goldman Sachs (woo!) so now I'm wondering what the most affordable place to live for the summer is. I'd like to be in FiDi/Battery Park, but I also realize that's super expensive and I'm not that inclined to pay a lot for a place that I'll only be staying in for 10 weeks. Any recommendations? I'm looking to spend around $2000 a month.

Fidi is cheap comparatively to LES, east village, soho etc. You should be able to find something for 2k there fairly easily if you can grab an apartment mate or two

A lot of my friends from my school who interned in New York lived at NYU.

I'm not sure if that fits into wanting to be straight next to Battery Park, but I just know its very common.
