Who on WSO deserves help/guidance

So there is a group of people on the site that I think deserve a shot but simply arent getting their fair chance.

I really think monkeysama has the drive to do well but im not sure what exactly the steps he has taken on his own to make things happen. There also is the guy with the 4.0 from Morehead state that was a professional poker player and interned at a prop shop.

Alright here is my deal with monkeysama

The dude has drive, thats clear. But I don't know why he isn't having ANY luck given his resume. It's not bad at all and I would think, with a minimal level of intellect and the aforementioned ambition he would have made some headway at this point. I talked to him a few weeks and ago and basically played middle man for a phone interview between him and my future brother in law at the SEC. I gave him at least an hour of my time and put myself out there with Dave (guy at SEC) and he was less than appreciative.

Plus his shamelessly asking people to get him interviews on an open forum and via PM is tasteless and kinda irritates me.

Guy from Morehead def deserves any help we can give him. Could not agree more.

Who's the guy from Morehouse?

The moorhead state guy is Schwallie.

On monkeysama he too messaged me and I told him to contact Shorttheworld. I think Short spoke with him not sure where it went.

Just to clarify, I'm not saying that I'm not willing to help him but I do think someone needs to either give him a realistic picture of what his options are and/or tell him to tone it down a notch

oh on a slightly different topic where did trade4life aka thisdude aka the wannabe trade4size get an offer from? I know he was down to SIG, Trillium and one other I think 5 rings?

Just wait for the story about a guying getting punched in the face on a trading floor and that will will tell us who gave him the offer.

I'm surprised short didn't go through all the resumes that got submitted to Trillium and try to weed that dude out before it even got that far

there was a guy on here back summer of 2008 that got an offer with Blackstone and people got so furious with him they threatened to forward the message string to HR. He shut his mouth very quickly after that and was gone entirely within weeks. No idea whatever happened to him.

that may not be a terrible solution for thisdude/trade3life dude haha something to consider

I'm actually pretty impressed that you guys are able to coordinate something like this -- noble effort no doubt.

And who is this trade4life guy? never heard of him.
