Who's ready for a long festive break from work?

I keep seeing more and more people OOO everyday on Slack, while our Private channel on Blind is exploding with crazy ideas about renting a massive homes, boats as a company wide event. Though this sounds exciting theres two problems:

1) I don't feel invited, cause no one invited me... SO I can't just show up 2) Is it really going to be fun with people from work and their families?

Big Problem ) People posting on our private channel are all anonymous, and are talking about bringing their families along. So I'm guessing no one knows anyone?!

What are y'all doing this holiday season? Any strange work vacay like mine?

Well they made it seem like a company wide event, but its not official. Maybe I'l take the convo out of Blind and propose a meet-up for planning.

That is some weird shit.

I'm going to my fiancee's home city for Thanksgiving and then doing my typical whirlwind tour up and down the east coast for Christmas/New Years.

I will definitely not be hanging out with any coworkers or their families...
