Why don’t bankers use social media?
Why don't most investment bankers not have an instagram? Or do they use it with a different name to not get looked up?
I don’t want to generalize, this observation is based on my personal experience only.
They do, they just lied to you so you won’t ask for their handle and follow them

And why are you looking up bankers on Instagram?
To see who I have common interests with so I can network with them

Cause I don't want business school weirdos asking for "networking" chats over Instagram. LinkedIn is bad enough.
Just about every analyst/associate/VP I know has an Instagram and it's under their real name... IB people are not famous enough to have a fake name lmao
My guess is you're just not finding the right account because you have no mutuals, or they use a shortened / nickname on the account
