Will Smith smacked Chris Rock after a joke about Jada Smith

After originally laughing at the joke, Will Smith later walked on stage and smacked Chris Rock in the face. The smack looked over-exaggerated, but the general consensus is that he made contact.

I think Will Smith is a great actor, but he’s such a clown. He let his wife openly sleep with another man and acted like it was actually good for their “marriage”.

First of all, you don't slap a man. Ok. I mean, even when slapping was fashionable, ya know, they did it in Paris, some guy would come up, (slap!) "I challenge you to a duel." They would have a gunfight after that, somebody had to go!

While every part of me wants to say that this whole interaction is fake and done for viewership, the other half of me actually thinks it's real. I only say that since all American TV feeds cut the volume after Smith started yelling expletives, it seemed like it took the networks and everyone aback. Eh, who knows - I will say that everyone was talking about how much the Oscars are gonna suck and they're boring, and now everyone is talking about the Oscars.

If real, Smith is a dick. Like, come on dude - it's fucking Chris Rock. It's humor. Smith didn't find it funny? Pull the man aside after the show and talk to him like a normal person. Low blow by Rock to make that joke, but that's the thing... it's a joke. I'm sure if anything, Kanye is very proud of Smith's reaction and is now plotting his next move to one-up him.

Explain to me how making a GI joke about a woman with a shaved head is a low blow? The style is more and more common these days, especially amongst black women. It's not like she has cancer and even if she did IT'S A JOKE. Have you ever watched Chris Rock's comedy? That was one of the most tame audience jabs I think I've ever seen him make. If anything Will's wife should be honored her name came out of such a legendary mouth.

"Low blow" may be the wrong word, I was more or less equating to how I could see that it may irk someone. Me? Nah, I'm not one to get offended by that. Also, my entire post was basically calling Smith a massive asshole, which I'm still agreeing with.

Did mods ban the word cu.ck? I've tried making 2-3 separate references to Will's wife openly talking about her multiple lovers and they get instantly removed. So lame.
