Work life balance
So it is extremely unlikely to have a healthy work-life balance(WLB) in an IB analyst role (or any role IB, really). In which finance prospects is it possible to have a moderate work-life balance?
Generalizing, WLB is poor across the board, I'm curious as to which prospects have WLB shops.
If you work in a PE, HF, or VC shop(or AM, CR, ER, GE, MC) and have a decent WLB, would you mind commenting your hours, salary, note any caveats, and describe the rarity of your position? Also, include comp for positions above and below you if possible.

Thanks
This will be a longer discussion. I'll leave a comment and circle back on the weekend with my distilled thoughts on the career paths I've seen.
Define WLB
Good: 40-50. Decent: 50-60. Alright: 60-70. Not great: 70-80. Poor: 80+
