Worst typos in work documents or presentations

When I was an intern where I am at now I was working on an internal training piece with co-workers for the Bank I am at. We were talking about how outside vendors conduct tests to try and find weaknesses in our controls.

We were modifying the slide after running through it in our department we were basically saying, "Vendors conduct penetration testing to assess...."

Well when I typed Assess I left off the 2nd S. Penetration testing to asses! When my co-workers delivered it at least only two people noticed (Although one of them was the Bank Senior VP).. but we definitely had a laugh about it!

What are some of the worst typos you've done, or seen in client or multiple employee facing presentations or documents?

Not fatal. I'm guessing you are 1 year in or you would not be paranoid over this.

I don't see why the manager got pissed you just deleted the comment box vs. switch to another deck. As long as there wasn't another comment box somewhere else, what does it matter?

I would not bring it up again. Act like it's not a big deal, because it really isn't. If you go back and say 'Just wanted to apologize for mixing up the presentations. Won't let it happen again.' you will just reinforce the memory and negative perception in your manager's mind.

When you have established a reputation for solid work among multiple managers, you won't worry about this shit which happens every now and then. It's ridiculous to think that this one incident will make or break you (not saying you believe that). Just relax and put together a solid body of work over a sustained period.
