Well...the co-founder of WhatsApp just told everyone to delete their Facebook. In this the Verge article, Brian Acton, one of the founders of WhatsApp, just tweeted "It is time. #deletefacebook" on his twitter.

Haven't deleted it, but it's only logged in on my phone these days and I think I make 1-2 posts a year. Got rid of the Facebook messenger app a while ago, and deleted the FB app from my iPad in like 2016 or so.
Sir, I encourage you to analyze your previous statement while taking into consideration the reason people are deleting facebook.
Opposite for me. I deleted the app off all my phones and tablets. I dont want or need the app pulling data from me 24/7. I now login a handful of times per year during the rare occasion i am on the computer.

Already deleted it. Enormous waste of time. It is scary to me how little the majority of people care about personal privacy.

Why would I care about what some random guy has to say? Social media is a decent way to stay in touch with my extended family that is spread out across the country, and my friend group that is now spread out across the world. No more, no less.
