Would you delete your Facebook now because of this?

Well...the co-founder of WhatsApp just told everyone to delete their Facebook. In this the Verge article, Brian Acton, one of the founders of WhatsApp, just tweeted "It is time. #deletefacebook" on his twitter.

Do you think it is time to delete facebook now?

I disagree; social media is essential; it's just that people need to learn how to use it more wisely

Opposite for me. I deleted the app off all my phones and tablets. I dont want or need the app pulling data from me 24/7. I now login a handful of times per year during the rare occasion i am on the computer.

Never had an account to begin with. When I was in high school a over a decade ago I told everyone: ''You have to be retarded to give to someone you don't know every single info about your life: name, birthday, address, interests, friends, relatives, relationships, job.''

I've been long proven right about that.

Never discuss with idiots, first they drag you at their level, then they beat you with experience.

Why would I care about what some random guy has to say? Social media is a decent way to stay in touch with my extended family that is spread out across the country, and my friend group that is now spread out across the world. No more, no less.
