Guys given the fact that most of us on this site are investment experts (HF guys, CFAs, etc) and can probably make several multiples investing the SS deductions by ourselves. Would you guys opt out of Social Security if you could.
I'm in my early 20s & I'd short SS if it were possible......

Ya I would absolutely opt out. Especially given that social security is expected to start cutting benefits around 2035. I would much rather have those funds liquid and under my control.
