WSO, does my friends girlfriend like me?

We are both 17 and go to the same school

My friend and his girlfriend have been dating for around 12 months now.

He moved around 2 hours away and now they might see each other once a month or more at times!

Only recently I've put together all of the possible singles she has given me. I like her at this point.

So it started here, about 3 months ago, all three of us (my friend, his girlfriend and I) went to a college open day. I felt like I was talking more to my best friends girlfriend then he was. At this point I didn't like her and I didn't like third wheeling and tried to give them space.

My friends girlfriend lives close to me and we get the same train home together after it finishes. When they say goodbye they don't even hug... but did not think much of this. We get on the train and talk for the whole train ride (an hour and a half). She asked me really personal questions like if I liked anyone and asked what I thought about a chick who liked me, this caught me off guard and she asked about my family. I didn't think much of this, however I started to have a crush on her.

Then at school in class she starts sitting next to me and leaves her friends. At this stage I had no idea what was going on with her but as we talked more I soon discovered I like this girl. We talk a lot and laugh a lot. She is usually reserved and doesn't say much, however when we are in class she is always roasting me or we are having a laugh.

So then around last week she starts texting me about school, then the conversation slowly starts getting deeper and deeper about life. She complements me a few times on my instagram profile picture, she says when I voice my opinion on topics at school she learns a lot, she also asks what gym I go to.

At this time I did not know this at all, but my friend and his girlfriend were having a massive fight. It was over him taking a questionable photo with a girl at a party and staying over at her house without his girlfriend knowing.

She got mad at him about this (not the first time this has happened) and he thought she was overreacting since they did nothing (which I believe). He then got really angry at her and said he wanted to break up, they didn't and talked over it and apparently she was pretty upset.

Before the fight she asked me I know about some video involving him randomly and I say no I have no clue, I bought it up a few days later and she said not to worry and its been resolved. My friend told me about this and I said it had been resolved apparently.

So now my friends girlfriend has gone up to see my friend about all this to sort it out. It is messy and I really don't want to get involved, however I like this girl and if my friend was not going out with her I probably would of asked her out by now...

WSO my question to you is, does my friend's girlfriend like me? and if so do you think it might make her break up with her boyfriend (My friend)? (I really don't want to cause the break up despite liking her)
