While I can only comment second hand (close friend is full AWS), here are the points: 1. He is in IT Risk 2. Qualifications were loose, but generally required 2 years in a related field (penetration testing, etc.) 3. 125k base + 25k bonus target 4. 40 hours
Granted this is not usually in line with the usual demographic of these forums, but it's a gig that makes me quite jealous in terms of flexibility and hours.
Any idea what his typical work involves? I suspect that IT risk does not involve any software development?
