June 28 (Bloomberg) -- "Orsos Island" is a luxury floating island boasting six bedrooms, a jacuzzi, an aquarium and a restaurant. The island costs $6.5 million but does not include an engine. (Source: Bloomberg)
Does this mean you could have a moving floating island? That...would be awesome.
What it means is that if you want to move it around you need a tow. It defeats the point for me if I can't go where I want with out being pulled by something. Who knows what type of boat you need to tow it, for all we know it needs a tug boat to tow it, in which case you would really be riding in style. Not. I think I'll stick with this baby and cruise around to different islands instead of just floating in place in one.

Well I think we can all agree that you are going to need a big boat to tow this thing around. What is one of the worst things about being behind a big boat underway? The Diesel exhaust fumes are astronomical. So while you and your guests choke on the exhaust fumes trying to get to your next destination (presumably at like an 8 knot speed) I will cruising in mine enjoying the fresh air of the sea while I am sipping champagne in the jacuzzi.
- Cheers!

Really not that expensive, all things considered. Nice find. I'll have to book mark this for 20 years in the future, after I make my fortune.

Definitely want one of these. 6.5MM? Doesn't that sound cheap? What kind of island can you get for 20MM?
Don't these look like short, fat yachts with a few planters to anyone?
One of the coolest things I have seen to date.
