Zachman Framework.

I'm interested in hearing if anybody has any experience dealing with this Enterprise Architecture Framework. I am taking a backwards approaching to getting into an MBB (Healthcare/Government Business Analyst -> Finish UG -> MBA -> MBB) and about
9 months ago, during the interviewing process for an open contract, I experienced a rude awakening when I needed to learn how to use the "Zachman Framework".

At first I had no idea what it was and I was sacked like an unprotected quarterback. But then I downloaded a bunch of material and asked some of the senior people in my network and figured out the basics. From Wikipedia:

The basic idea behind the Zachman Framework is that the same complex thing or item can be described for different purposes in different ways using different types of descriptions... The framework provides six different transformations of an abstract idea (not increasing in detail, but transforming) from six different perspectives. It allows different people to look at the same thing from different perspectives. This creates a holistic view of the environment, an important capability illustrated in the figure.

Now it is largely used in Information System Architecture and considering I am NOT technical ( I am an Economics major with exposure to primarily operations and strategy issues) I am just curious about any of your personal experiences with it.
