<$1B Bank Credit Analyst
What information and/or insights are you willing to share about life as a credit analyst at a small community bank? This bank is in a large Texas city and does mostly commercial loans and revolvers. I'd like to know what the usual compensation is and what sort of career paths and exit opportunities are available. I know I don't have a clear path to IB, PE, or HF, but that's fine with me. There probably aren't many people with this kind of experience on this board, but anything helps.
The average Commercial Credit Analyst salary varies from mid 40's up to high 50's depending on the bank.
Most Analysts go on to become Relationship Managers at their prospective banks (usually in 2-3 yrs).
