Anyone in IB thinking of becoming a developer?
Been working at in M&A for about a year now at a MM. Tired of the position, and really really really bored of the job. Was visiting several friends who worked as developers in the bay area over memorial day. They make a lot of money, like almost 200k after one year of experience, and get like stock options, unlimited days off, end of year bonuses, like 3 hours a week to just create whatever they want, the full nine yards. And they work shorter days than I do. I'm thinking about going back to school to do a Msc in Computer Science, to find a developer job. Has anyone taken this path?
