If your friend is thinking about going into marketing, that’s pretty exciting. Marketing is a huge field, with so many different angles. Traditional tactics like print ads, direct mail, and in-person events; digital channels like social media, SEO, and email campaigns. My cousin actually took two online courses that really helped him get started. The first one is from Google Digital Garage; it’s free and gives you a solid intro to digital marketing and data analytics. The other is from HubSpot Academy, which goes deep into content creation, social media strategy, and inbound marketing. I've also heard about other platforms like Udemy offering specialized courses in digital marketing and analytics, so there are plenty of options out there. Plus, the marketing world keeps evolving, blending online and offline methods. For example, QR codes for marketing are used to bridge the gap between physical ads and online content, what they call phygital marketing (also something to learn about, I think it's necessary nowadays). On top of courses, there's a ton of free reading resources for later, of course.
