Big 4 Risk Advisory Case Interview - Summer Leadership Program

Hi WSO, I was Invited to one of the Big 4's (gotta keep it anonymous in case anyone screenshots this post to a recruiter lol) summer leadership programs, but apparently for Advisory, you need to do another round of interviews - a case study, that Audit and Tax luckily don't need to do.

I was wondering if anyone could provide insight on topics I should study, the general atmosphere, their evaluative criteria, etc. I haven't taken any courses in my IT major yet, so I am a bit of a noob with all this stuff. I am also a bit concerned because technically the interview is officially just for "our Advisory practice" which seems fairly broad, so I am a bit overwhelmed with where to start. I say Risk Advisory because it was emphasized during recruiting that all new hires in advisory start off doing risk advisory. I only just recently decided to explore this service line.

Any help much appreciated, thank you!

Case Study for Risk Advisory? I thought Risk Advisory was IT Audit? What kind of case would you get? Maybe the performance/process improvements since that's typical Management consulting. Are you sure you got that right?

That's what I was confused about! Now I remember a recruiter definitely told me "Risk Advisory" on the phone when giving me the summer program offer and telling me that I had to do a case study for internship consideration. When I hear case study I think more management consulting type work, but it's definitely for risk advisory, which as you said is more IT related. Hopefully it's not too crazy because my IT technicals are not developed yet by any stretch.

Thank you for your help!
