This is impossible but I’ll give a shot. I’m sure you knew this before you posted. Very hard to rank a restructuring group against a HC group against generalist. 


if you want to do M&A or specific industry group:

Evr or MS 

If you want to do restructuring, no brainer, PJT.


Lazard HC and JPM Lev fin are excellent if you want those groups, but if you’re optimizing for firm and not group I would go Evr or MS. On a standalone, Laz HC and JPM Lev fin are probably better than their counterparts at Evr and MS, but if you’re against lev fin or HC doesn’t make sense to take them.

these are all fantastic offers (seriously, all top of street offers) and based on the wide scope of them you need to do some soul searching about what industry you want to work for and if you want a BB or EB platform
