Econ Grad School
In the case that I cannot get a full-time offer for IBD in either bulge brackets, middle markets, or boutiques, I am thinking about applying for an econ masters program shortly after finishing undergrad. I don't know if WSO is the best place to ask about this, but I was wondering if anybody knew what type of math preparation would be sufficient to be a competitive candidate at a top 15 program.
econ master? waste of time...
or PhD......whichever seems like the best option going forward
If you want to get into finance, study finance. There are plenty of good Masters in Finance, including mathy quanty types.
