ex Big 4 CPA -> controller

Hey all,

I'm an ex big 4 CPA in the alternatives space. I moved to a large investment bank - Asset Management arm - alternatives investments in the financial accounting - controller's group. The typical public to private move. I considered some options back then but ended up in the controller's group as the pay and hours were good. A year and a half later... I'm so bored out of my mind. I have a strong GPA from a recognizable school...

Options that I seem to come across include - Investor relations - Risk management - Product control/ more middle office role. - Operations - Planning and analysis

I would really appreciate feedback from people knowledgable about these careers/positions... What the best career path/ option would be.. I know these aren't high finance PE/Hedge fund but out of the options I have i'm trying to decide and need help!! Which is most rewarding/ best pay/ good career path???

Help!!! Thank you so much in advance for your advice!!
