Financial degree career advice

Hello. I am new to this forum. I actually live in Albania and I recently got a MS degree in Finance (previously bachelor of business administration). I am currently pursuing career opportunities and a couple of days ago I applied for a tax internship at KMPG ( Tax and Audit were available) and I have the test due on Thursday.

Regarding areas of finance I prefer more the investment sector; stocks, bonds, financial markets and corporate finance. I don't like much accounting, but once a professor of mine said that to be good in finance you need to work about two years in accounting. I am not sure if I have any options to work from the beginning (without prior work experience in accounting or sth) in the sectors I mentioned and honestly I don't know what kind of companies to seek. Even though the Big 4 are suitable for accounting careers I thought I might give it a try. If financial advisory intern position would have been available I would have chosen it over tax and audit, as I think it is much closer to the finance path that I want to seek. What do you guys think? Will an internship in Tax be beneficial or would it be better to start with other options (closer to finance in contrast with accounting)? I would be grateful for any advice on my career path.
