Getting views on a future billion dollar industry.

Some of you may be following the recent developments in cannabis/medical marijuana legislation, including legalization of recreational cannabis in Washington state and Colorado in the 2012 fall elections.

We've created a website, Cannabis Price Index, that tracks published retail prices for cannabis products, in order to observe long term trends and help producers, retailers and investors make informed decisions about these new markets.

A growing number of publicly traded stocks in the medical marijuana and cannabis industries are becoming available, such as MDBX and GWP.L. We would like to know what you would like to see from us in order to provide better tools for fundamental analysis of these commodities.

Right now, no that is not permitted. Colorado is attempting to make an end run around this issue by implementing restrictions on production - eliminating surplus to preclude an uptick in exports. Washington state is following a similar approach, by crafting regulations about production to match the demand in-state.

Investing in some of the peripheral industry in the medical marijuana states is a very sound investment. Land is safe, but for fast, low risk growth testing labs are great. For exponential higher risk investment dispensaries are taking in real money.

This is hilarious. Does everyone realize that weed is still ILLEGAL under Federal Law? The government has every right to arrest who they want in any states that have "legalized" this. Be careful when investing in anything directly.
