Goldman Sachs Finance Controllers Group vs. Finance Services

I recently interviewed with the Finance Controllers group as well as the Finance department within the Services Division. I received an offer from both departments as a Summer Analyst. I was given 24 hrs to decide between the two divisions.

Controllers offered more pay. I'm honestly not really sure what I want to do in Finance, Controllers is appealing because it's broader. However, Services contains a Real Estate and Hospitality department. Although I would not be directly working under those departments, I would still be exposed to them (and the possibility to laterally transfer is more likely).

I'm truly thrilled about the opportunity to work for Goldman, and really just wants to learn as much as I can. Divisions such as Investment Management really interest me, yet I understand that they're ridiculously competitive.

It's also quite likely that I'll enjoy which ever division I choose. I'm limited on time, and any advice would be highly appreciated!
