So I just finished my first year in product control at a BB as part of a rotational program and im now working in a Corp finance/revenue reporting role. I've been looking for roles in Market/Credit Risk to expand my skills and move towards more interesting/fast paced work, but I haven't had any luck with recruiters who are only interested in placing you for their own gain.
What's a good intermediary career move to take if i plan on going into risk near term? There's IPV/IVC (independent price verification) which seems quantitative, but I'm getting mixed reviews of exit ops. Should I look towards other product control roles? I'm hearing from others that it's fairly difficult to move out of there as well (and should consider myself lucky that I did).
