Is this experience good for you in undergrad?
Hello, I am a 3rd year student in Financial Economics. I am aspiring to apply for a Masters in Financial Engineering in 2015 in US or Canada, I plan to work as a financial analyst and work my way up either in investment banking or financial engineering. I recently got offered a job as an Associate at World Financial Group owned by AEGON. I heard a lot of mixed opinions about this company. Would it benefit or do harm for my future?
Please any comment would be appreciated, I really need an advice, would this job affect me if I want to apply to a top business school or get into IB?
What exactly will you be doing there? To be honest, I haven't heard much about it but if it's experience relating to where you want to end up than I don't see why not.
Where are you currently studying? Are you in the UK?
If you are a recent graduate? Is this your only offer? If so, take it. It's always easier to get a new job while having one. Even if it isn't related to what you want to do later, you are at least not unemployed.
