Leveraged Finance or Big 4 TS?
What does the group think? Which position would be better - working in a Big4 TS group or as an analyst in a leveraged finance group? I would love to hear thoughts on comp., exit opps., work/life, etc.
Also, what is everyone's thoughts on working at Antares Cap vs. another leveraged finance group at a bank?
I have a few buddies who work at Antares, they love it. not sure about exit opps
Thanks McBullish. Any idea what type of hours your buddies are working there?
If you can get lev. fin at a bulge bracket bank, that that over Big 4 anyday
Thanks - what are your thoughts about working somewhere like an Antares? Would you hold that in similar regard?

Anyone have any thoughts on Antares?
Good guys, lots of opps, hard working. AC probably better if you want to go MM PE. If you want BB IBD big 4 stars might have an edge.
Thanks. Can you elaborate on the exit oops?
PE, MMIBD, MM leveraged lending, either on the relationship manager or risk side, Asset Management (prime I fund and the like), any of the various current or former GE capital entities (everybody still knows each other).
Not to hijack the thread - but how realistic would it be to transition from a Big 4 FDD background into a leveraged finance group?
