What's the typical compensation for credit investment associates at the megafunds? (i.e. KKR, Apollo, Centerbridge, etc.)

Should be similar to buyout associates, maybe $250-$300 for a first year associate pre MBA

I agree with BitzGerald. Should be similar +/- 10% or so.
Centerbridge only has one pool (all associates work on both PE and HF deals), so they'll be getting compensated at the same level as what else has been floated on this forum (in line with what Apollo pays a first year associate in PE)
