Need some help about this summer...

OK let me break it down for you. 1I go to a non target school (think errr low C school maybe even D) 2have an average GPA (3.43) 3I am actively involved at school in clubs and what not.
4I started my own business in high school (not some bull shit thing that someone puts on there resume, but actual money, around 40-55k a year for a good 4 1/2 years)

I have received an offer to work this summer as an intern in a Huge i-bank (think top 5, don't want to say the name since it was an early offer and I am afraid someone who works there may see it.) operations class of 2009... Here are my questions. (1)Is this a good internship considering my background? (2)What are the exit ops for a full time analyst? (3)if for instance I have also received a super day for Finance analyst at Citi, which would be better? Thanks a lot for the help!

..take the offer. it'll be challenging to get into front office during internships. but at least you might be able to network your way in FO (if thats what you want).

curious though, if ur business generates 40-55K a year, why don't you focus on just growing that business to 60-100K/year?

We're about to enter a Great Depression. Don't you want a president who's already dressed for it?

------------ I'm making it up as I go along.

The business ended when my contact moved back to his "mother land". Basically I had an in with my fathers friend and after a good run, once he left so did other opportunities. That was 3 years ago. I would like to thank you for the advice and Obv you are right about me wanting to move up to FO hopefully S&T or AM. Thanks Cornelius!
